Here’s a quick video of a mortared flagstone patio we just finished in Asheville.
We used Buff Crab Orchard stone for this project. There was an existing dry laid patio in this space that we replaced and reused some of the stone.
Our goal was to match the existing flagstone entryway and covered porch.

Here’s a video of a front yard landscape renovation we did in Asheville, Nc.
This landscape features a dry laid flagstone patio with a Pondless waterfall and custom stone staircases.
Here is a quick video showing how we move rock in tight spaces/ existing landscapes when we can’t use a machine or dolly.
This boulder we are moving here is approx. 1000# and will be used as a seat for the fire pit we just installed for our clients in Weaverville, NC
We use plywood and 2 inch PVC pipe to move the rocks. Once the rock is on the wood and pipes it can be moved and placed with ease.
This is a very old technique for moving rock and can be time consuming, but it is worth the time when you can get large custom boulders to a feature that is hard to access.
Here is the finished fire pit with the boulder benches roughly placed.
We will set the boulders and finish around them with flagstone to complete the area.
This project also includes, a sunken hot tub and a custom water feature to make an incredible outdoor living space.

We just finished this outdoor fire pit in Weaverville,Nc.
We set this fire pit on a concrete slab that will be an extension to the existing flagstone patio.
We formed the fire pit with concrete cap blocks placed in a 3 ft circle. We then anchored them to the slab using rebar and wire.
We then faced the blocks with stone and capped it with Bluestone.
We set the fire pit to be centered on the patio to allow for amazing views and to be close to the new hot tub we installed.
We will finish around the fire pit with flagstone and boulder benches.

This week we are installing an in ground hot tub for our clients in Weaverville, NC.
The new tub will sit at the edge of the existing patio with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
We are designing a new landscape around the tub to include a Pondless water feature, Firepit, extended flagstone patio and planting.
We were happy to work with David’s Home Entertainment out of Waynesville, NC. They provided the hot tub along with great customer service, prompt delivery and a friendly staff. 5 stars for sure!
