We just finished this custom dry laid flagstone patio in Weaverville, NC
This patio includes an inlay pattern in the center. While the rest of the patio is a random pattern, the central inlay draws your eye and invites you in.
The special part about this patio project was the custom wood bench.
My carpenter custom made this glue-lam curved bench from trees on his property.
The bench was then cut into two 1000 pound boulders. Creating a beautiful and functional feature.
In addition to the stone and wood in the design of this feature, we installed a landscape lighting system so that it can be enjoyed at night.
This was a fun feature to build and we hope to build more features like this in the future.

We just finished this awesome, 100 ft long Pondless waterfall in Hendersonville, Nc.
This custom waterfall features a meandering stream through the upper yard of our clients house. With a stone slab stairway that leads you up to a beautiful dry laid flagstone patio.
Every stone on this project was hand selected and placed to create a magical one of a kind feature.

We just finished this really fun project in Burnsville, NC. Our clients had an existing Koi pond that was failing. It was an old wooden structure the retained the pond.
We talked about options to fix the feature and deck that a rebuilt was needed. So we made plans to create a new outdoor space around the pond. The finished design incorporated a new dedicated Koi pond, a Pondless waterfall, stone stairs and a dry laid flagstone patio.
The pond ended up being 10×15 ft by 6 ft deep. We installed a rotating drum filter with a moving bed biological filtration system. This filter is top of the line and automatically cleans itself!
Below the pond we installed a Pondless waterfall with a Filtrific filter. We installed this waterfall seem as it flows out of the pond, but it’s a separate system.
We also installed a stone slab stairway that wrapped around the pond and leads you down to the lower waterfall.
There is a stone bridge over the falls that makes a great feature.
It was an amazing project to be a part of. And I’m very thankful to be able to work with such awesome clients!

We just finished a dry laid flagstone patio in Asheville, nc.
Dry laid stone work is done without the use of concrete or mortar.
The strength of the patio relies on a well drained base of gravel and tightly cut large pieces of stone.
Each piece of stone is hand cut to fit tightly and to create a structural and attractive pattern.
We also installed a bench wall at the edge of the patio. This wall supports the lower edge of the patio and adds a place to relax and enjoy the backyard.
Dry laid stone work will last for decades if installed correctly.
